The ongoing drama between voice actor Nicolas Cantu (known for his roles in TMNT and The Amazing World of Gumball) and YouTuber Dream became tense when a video about Cantu was released, in which he threatened to “cripple” Dream, as well as hurling various slurs.
Dream claims Nicolas Cantu threatened to kill him amid ‘homophobia’
Dream has been making headlines lately, and it’s not because of his incredibly successful YouTube career. Although his face reveal and subsequent tour won the hearts of many fans, there were still those who criticized him for grooming his fans.

While these allegations remain unproven, some continue to accuse him of interacting with underage fans. Nicolas Cantu, a voice actor known for his roles in shows like TMNT and the lead role in The Amazing World of Gumball, took to Twitter and shared. calling Dream a “p*dophile”although he was replying to a fan account and not Dream himself.
Dream actually responded by posting a video of Cantu drunk in the back of an Uber, with him threatening Dream during their trip.
Video description Cantu and Dream sat in an Uber car together in a speech that has garnered more than 60 million views and counts on Twitter at the time of writing.
He insults the driver, calling him “fa****” and “re****” and comparing his intelligence to that of a caveman.
“You don’t understand that you’re talking to the Michelangelo of my time, do you? Like, I’m a genius. Manufacturer of high-class history books Albert Einstein. You will be forgotten like dust in the sand. When you’re in the fucking Sahara desert and there are hundreds of millions and trillions of grains of sand, you’re one of them. And I will be a statue built of gold.”
Cantu continues to claim he is the way he is because of “ADHD, autism, neurodivergence” and that he wants to fight Dream. “Either you will be paralyzed or you will die,” Cantu declared.
in one tweet before the video appearedCantu claimed that he was drunk at the time despite being underage and that he was “cutting down” on his drinking.
The fact that Cantu is under the legal drinking age makes many people worry about his health and increases the charges against Dream.
Cantu’s words fall into the realm of delusions of grandeur, something people with substance abuse and mental illness often experience. Many of those who have seen the video are worried about Cantu’s health and well-being.
“I would be quite concerned if a friend of mine acted like that after drinking and it would be something we could discuss after being drunk.” said one Twitter user.
Nicolas Cantu has not yet responded to the video at the time of writing.
