She plays Laura, a 16-year-old New Zealand girl who will have to battle a supernatural spirit that attacks her younger brother, discovering her true identity along the way. She must confront the stranger who captured her brother. To defeat the stranger, she must follow the advice of a young man who seems to know Laura’s mysteries. Witchcraft, fantasy and spells are components of the solution. The Changeover was published in 2017. In 2018, Erana took on the lead role of Nell in another New Zealand film Southland’s Home. As of 2020, she is working on the film Hot Mother, in which she plays Sofia, a teenage girl who is not romantically involved with her mother. Erana has just started her career and has established her name as one of New Zealand’s potential actresses.
