Fans were beaming with joy after Ariana Madix made her first appearance on Dancing With The Stars in a rather familiar dress.
Ariana Madix may have long been known for BravoTV’s Vanderpump Rules, but she recently stepped out of her comfort zone to join ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.
Season 32 of DWTS premiered Tuesday night with Madix and her partner Pasha Pashkov dancing to the Riddler Remix of Hailee Steinfield’s ‘Love Myself’.
Even though the night was all about her dancing skills, Madix’s hot red dress stole the spotlight when she chose to recreate her Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion dress – leaving fans haunted influenced by her “revenge” look.
Ariana Madix gets emotionally candid in a DWTS confessional
Madix made it clear in her introductory confessional on DWTS that the previous drama involving ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval did not define her, saying, “You may know me from Vanderpump Rules. My partner of 9 years and one of my closest girlfriends had an affair behind my back. And everyone got to watch it all happen, and my life exploded on television.”
Madix went on to tell the world, “But scandal does not define me. So now I just want to do something fun and positive for myself.”
She also noted that while it was difficult to be seen as a joke by Sandoval and Rachel Leviss, whom he cheated with, she is doing DWTS to “show other women that there is no None of that can hinder you.”
Furthermore, Madix made her DWTS debut with an impressive VPR Season 10 reunion dress, which she promised would one day make Sandoval’s eyes bleed.
The dress was bright red, accentuating Madix’s abs, and featured sparkling diamonds on the long sleeves and midsection.
After fans realized Madix wore her revenge dress to the DWTS premiere, they were quick to comment on her bold and beautiful choice, saying, “Obsessed with how DWTS costume makers remade Ariana’s reunion revenge dress for her first dance on the show.”
Others commented on Madix’s dress saying, “The revenge dress is like a ball gown!! You ate that!!” As well as, “Revenge dress!! Maybe you don’t even know how inspiring you are – crying!!”
One fan even joked about both Madix and Sandoval being on separate competition shows at the same time, saying: “Oh hello revenge dress… Show ’em mustache ‘ that had a better performance!
Well, the red revenge dress and persistence paid off, because Madix not only sent a very clear and epic message to her ex, but also scored 21/30 – ranking her and partner Pashkov in second place on the night. The next DWTS episode airs next Tuesday on ABC at 8pm EST.
