Final ‘A Quiet Place, Part II’ Trailer Drops 2023

After three long years of waiting and three different delays, A Quiet Place, Part II is almost upon us. Paramount Pictures recently released the final trailer before the film hits theaters at the end of May, and it looks like it’ll be just as intense a suspense thriller as the first film.

A Quiet Place, inspired by films like Alien and No Country for Old Men, was directed by Jim Halpert, The Office prankster… err, John Krasinski (also known for his breakout role in the series Amazon’s Jack Ryan reboot), who also stars alongside his real-world (and fictional) wife, Emily Blunt. Blunt and Krasinski play couple Evelyn and Lee Abbot, who struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world where people must keep quiet to survive, all while having three children and another on way. While the first film was a huge critical and box office success, there’s little doubt that the sequel will continue that success, especially as people look forward to returning to theaters. movie. A Quiet Place, Part II is expected to air on the Paramount+ streaming service a little more than a month after its release in theaters to give audiences a more “proper” viewing experience.

Krasinski explains in a short film, also recently released by Paramount, that, “It’s exciting to be able to go back to the theater and watch A Quiet Place: II because it was always designed for the theatrical experience. It’s a horror movie, you want to watch it in the dark,” Blunt later added, explaining that the theatrical experience will leave audiences “jumping up and gasping together.”

The latest Quiet Place film features the return of Emily Blunt as husband and wife Evelyn Abbot, along with Millicent Simmonds as deaf daughter Reagan and Noah Jupe as son Marcus. Krasinski is also set to return as Lee Abbot via pre-alien apocalypse flashbacks, and actors Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou will star in new roles.

A Quiet Place Part II is scheduled to hit theaters on May 28.
