As the public is looking online for information about the upcoming Fireworks of My Heart program, we are providing the information here. A Date With The Future and Fireworks Of My Heart have the same idea and I only finished the latter a little over a month ago. Therefore, it is difficult to avoid making comparisons between the two films. Of course, each product has its positives and negatives, so comparing two separate products may not be fair. Review of the movie Fireworks of My Heart
In high school, Song Yan and Xu Qin were classmates. Xu Qin is a quiet student and studies very well. On the other hand, Song Yan was a troublemaker and was rejected by the university. But they both become close friends and eventually fall in love. Unfortunately, because of the obvious socioeconomic divide between them, Xu Qin’s wealthy adoptive mother objected to their relationship and caused her to break up with Song Yan. Xu Qin returned from abroad ten years later. She currently works as an emergency physician and Song Yan is the captain of the local fire department. They both try to forget the memories of their old relationship because it still affects them.
Xu Qin and Song Yan reconnect because of the nature of their careers. The same obstacle that led to their separation in the first place – the objections of Xu Qin’s family – still hinders her efforts to take small steps toward reconciliation with Song Yan. Achieving freedom and happiness becomes difficult for her because she lacks the courage to leave her tyrannical family and mother. Meanwhile, Song Yan is keeping quiet because he has doubts about Xu Qin’s choice and whether they have a future or not. Can this couple overcome the seemingly hopeless predicament they now face and stay together?
The story Fireworks of My Heart ends happily. In episode 39, Song Yan proposed to Xu Qin and she accepted. To surprise her, he also arranged their marriage home. Even though there was no wedding scene, they still did a wedding photo session. Xu Qin’s father also tried to heal the rift between the two families. To meet Song Yan’s family, he went to their house. In response to Song Yan saving her from a flooded car after the tunnel collapsed during the storm in Episode 40, Xu Qin’s mother also had a change of heart towards him.
