The 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade features plenty of music. Not only did Brandy and Jon Batiste take the stage, but K-pop group Enhypen stole the show.
That is, until the very end when pop queen Cher pulls out all the stops for a live electronic version of her song “DJ Play a Christmas Song.”
Dancers twirl around the stage and Cher exudes magic and glamor for one of the best musical performances of the year.

Flavor Flav appears to be Cher’s biggest fan
During the performance, the television crew interrupted the crowd for reactions and one fan stood out from the rest. Rapper Flavor Flav, who regularly attends Macy’s Thanksgiving Day festivities, was on hand to cheer on the icon. He put all the other fans to shame as he beamed from ear to ear.
On Twitter/X, fans were extremely excited and expressed their excitement at Flavor Flav’s reaction.
One fan wrote: “The Flava performance at the Christmas parade was amazing.
Another agreed and quickly wrote, “The best part of the parade was the quick transition to flava tunes for the audience right after Cher’s performance.”
“Flava Flav loves him a little Cher. Would love to see it,” one fan added.
“Trying to avoid criticizing anyone in the audience in case I have another Flava Flav incident on my hands like last year,” one fan joked.
Flavor Flav “is there every year to support everyone. This is amazing!” one fan shouted.
Space Budgie added: “I’m not surprised! I accidentally discovered on his tiktok that he is a huge fan of Taylor Swift.”
Cher is currently doing promotional rounds in support of “DJ Play a Christmas Song,” the opening track to the superstar’s holiday-themed Christmas album.
