After accusations of Gerry Turner being fatphobic were exposed, viewers are watching Golden Bachelor.
The premiere season of The Golden Bachelor ended on November 30, and initially, viewers were excited to see who would win.
With Theresa Nist and Leslie Fhima being Gerry Turner’s final two, fans were eager to find out who received his proposal in the finale.
Then scandals hit the media. Gerry’s ex-girlfriend, who claims they started dating shortly after his ex-wife passed away, has accused him of criticizing her for gaining weight.
This accusation alone caused Bachelor Nation to immediately turn against him, to the point where people began to worry about his new bride.

Are fans happy about the finale of The Golden Bachelor?
In the final episode, Gerry decided to choose Theresa and she accepted his proposal.
Following the allegations about his off-screen personality, viewers immediately took to Reddit to share their concerns about their relationship.
One fan wrote: “Wait until he actually understands Theresa is neither a trader nor corporate finance nor the CEO of a hedge fund but a compliance officer! Yep – those are NOT money kids. So I hope Theresa finds someone else too. Even though I’m not a fan of hers, she doesn’t deserve to be Gerry’s BS artist.”
Another fan chimed in and wrote: “She doesn’t make millions like dirty Gerry thinks. She felt comfortable and she worked for it. I hope she signs a prenup.”
As of now, the couple is still happily engaged. Gerry has not publicly responded to his ex’s claims.
