From 22 women to now one financier, Gerry Turner successfully chose his next bride on the premiere season of The Golden Bachelor.
In the final episode, he decided to propose to Theresa Nist instead of Leslie Fhima.
It’s unclear whether Theresa knew about the allegations from Gerry’s previous lover that were recently made public, but she happily accepted the ring at the time of filming and the two remained together after the allegations.
In fact, after just a few months of engagement, Gerry and Theresa were ready to take the next step and get married. And lucky for fans, it will be shown on TV.
The Golden Bachelor’s Gerry and Theresa are getting married?
One of the first times in the history of the Bachelor franchise, this couple had their televised moment of marriage.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gerry and Theresa’s segment (officially titled The Golden Wedding), will air live on ABC on January 4, 2024 for all of Bachelor Nation to enjoy.
As of now, no additional details have been released, including when it will take place and whether any of the season’s contestants will be in attendance.
“We’re getting married, we’re going to do it as quickly as possible because at our age we don’t have much time to waste,” Gerry said in the After The Final Rose segment.
As of now, The Golden Bachelor has not been renewed for a second season.
