Gordon Ramsay rarely avoids harsh criticism when visiting restaurants. Here’s what he had to say about South Brooklyn Foundry.

Anyone who has watched an episode of Kitchen Nightmares knows that it takes a lot to impress a master chef like Gordon Ramsay.

Time and time again, Gordon discovered problems that left him frustrated and disappointed at different restaurant locations.

While spending time at a restaurant called South Brooklyn Foundry, Gordon completely lost his temper! Here are the details.

Gordon Ramsay calls South Brooklyn Foundry a “fucking hole”

In one of the scenes from Season 8, Episode 8 of Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon sits inside the South Brooklyn Foundry with a plate of freshly cooked food in front of him.

His first complaint? Price point of the burger. He explains that after owning several burger establishments throughout his career, finding a place that sells burgers for $30 is rare.

In his opinion, a burger should only cost $30 if it’s truly special. Gordon used a knife to cut in before taking the first bite.

He then continued to say: “It’s okay. It’s not yet ripe. It’s bland. It’s just not good enough. $30? In this damn hole? Are you kidding me?

As the restaurant staff discussed Gordon’s opinion of the burger in the back of the kitchen, the chef began to get upset about the criticism of his food.

When chef Rey Martinez was informed that his burger was labeled “bad,” he responded by saying, “[Gordon] said many things I disagree with. At the end of the day, I can give two sh**s.”

Although tensions were running high during Gordon’s visit to South Brooklyn Foundry, it was clear that the chef and restaurant owner had taken some of Gordon’s advice to heart. The restaurant is still in operation today.
