Music artist Grimes is reportedly suing Tesla CEO Elon Musk in a custody battle over their three children after posting a tweet begging Musk to let her see their children.
Grimes and Elon Musk’s infamous relationship was first made public in 2018. Although the couple was hit with breakup rumors and a dramatic fallout with artist Azealia Banks, things seemed to go well. okay with the duo after Grimes announced her pregnancy in 2020.
That year, Grimes gave birth to a son, X Æ A-12. In 2021, the couple “semi-separated” but welcomed a baby girl named Exa Dark Siderael in March 2022.
In September 2023, Musk confirmed the name of his third child with Grimes as ‘Tau Techno Mechanicus’. However, it appears there has been some drama regarding Grimes’ custody, as the artist posted a tweet earlier that month saying: “Tell Elon to let me see my son or please reply to my lawyer” later that month.

Although the post has since been deleted, it appears Grimes is pursuing Musk in their custody battle.
As reported by TMZ, the artist filed a “petition to establish parentage” on Friday, September 29. These petitions seek to legally establish the child’s parentage. an unmarried couple.
Judging by her post, many fans speculated that the petition was created to gain custody of Tau’s children. The couple never publicly announced the birth of their third child, which is believed to be due in 2022.
On September 10, Grimes clarified her initial post with an update, saying she wanted to “de-escalate” the news surrounding her guardianship with Musk.
“As you can imagine, it was a very profound reaction to something that was very difficult for me,” she explains. “In the past, communication about the twins was not handled very well, but now I completely understand what happened and completely forgive the situation.”
“I wish I could show you how cute little Techno is, but my priority right now is to keep my children out of the public eye.”
To date, Musk has not publicly responded to the situation, and Grimes has not yet sought physical custody or custody of the children.
This latest news comes after Musk’s Twitter/X was sued by Florida-based company “X Social Media” in a trademark dispute.
