3. Select settings.
4. Scroll down and tap Change handle under Advanced.
5. Enter your new favorite handle.
6. Tap Save to confirm the availability of your preferred controller.

Your changes will be saved if your preferred handle is free. Otherwise, you will be notified that the handle is already in use and asked to try another one. You can check the availability of your preferred username by entering it in the search bar before going to the change username page.

Changing your handle won’t affect your current followers or notifications. However, it will change your profile URL, so you may want to update any links pointing to your old address name.
