You can post a story up to 15 seconds long. Each published story will be featured as a post in the feed along with a ‘story’ tag on it.
Each story posted on the app within 24 hours will be displayed as segments in the story post. This means that if you want to post something longer than 15 seconds, you will have to split it up.

Can you delete a TikTok story?
To delete a TikTok story, simply follow these steps:
- Open TikTok.
- Click on your profile in the bottom right corner.
- Tap your profile photo to open your story.
- Click on the three dots on the right.
- Select the ‘Delete’ icon.
- Tap ‘Delete’ again to confirm.
The story will also be automatically deleted after 24 hours.
