Popular gaming peripheral company HyperX just unveiled a new webcam, mic handle, and XLR audio mixer aimed at Twitch streamers.
Over the past few years, HyperX has grown rapidly in popularity with its high-quality yet extremely affordable products.
The Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless is one of the top gaming mice available, while the Cloud Alpha headset has an insane battery life of 300 hours.
On October 5, 2023, HyperX unveiled the Caster Mic arm, XLR audio interface, and Vision S Webcam aimed at Twitch streamers.
HyperX finally offers Twitch streaming accessories
HyperX has offered a microphone option for the Quadcast for several years now and launched the XLR Procast in late 2022, which we like a lot.
With the HyperX Caster crane, the company finally has a way for streamers to attach their microphones.
It’s pretty simple compared to other options on the market, featuring their iconic H logo and a 36-inch reach.
To power the Procast XLR and other XLR microphones, HyperX has unveiled an Audio Mixer/Audio Interface that provides 48V phantom power, live monitoring, and on-device controls for volume, mute and headphones.
HyperX
It offers up to 50dB of gain via XLR, so we’re not sure if it will power more high-end microphones like the Shure SM7B and Samson Q9U. However, it will definitely power the Shure SM7DB without any problems.
The Vision S webcam is HyperX’s first entry into the camera industry. It has an 8 MP Sony Starvis sensor and supports up to 4k resolution with a wide 90-degree viewing angle.
The Vision S webcam is available to buy now, while the Caster and Audio Mixer will be available in early 2024.
