Her third studio album 29: Written in Stone was released on September 17, 2021. Pearce is also a three-time Country Music Association Award winner and four-time Academy of Country Music Award winner. Carly has received a CMT Music Award and a Grammy. In 2021, she became a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Carly was previously married to country singer Michael Ray. The couple got engaged on December 19, 2018. It is said that Ray proposed to Carly at a beach resort in Tulum, Mexico in front of her family, who were also there on vacation. The two got married on October 6, 2019. But after eight months in June 2020, Carly filed for divorce from Ray. And later that year, she started dating again and then she started dating former minor league baseball player Rily King.
