Jaimee criticized the poor editing of her relationship with Culver on Below Deck Down Under 2023

According to Jaimee, several scenes that added context to her romance with Culver were removed from the final edit of Below Deck Down Under.

Jaimee and Culver seemed like a terrible match throughout season 2 of Below Deck Down Under. Many fans were under the impression that Jaimee had been unfair to her boyfriend throughout the season and didn’t understand why she chose to stay with Culver even though it was clear she didn’t care.

However, according to the stew, there was so much that happened in her relationship with Culver that added much-needed context to it all. Unfortunately, as Jaimee alleged, key moments of their courtship were cut from the show.

In Jaimee’s opinion, the editing of the Bravo series makes her seem more like a bad guy than she actually is.

Jaimee from Below Deck Down Under thinks there are a lot of things that aren’t right with her relationship with Culver

In the last episode of season 2, Jaimee cheated on Culver with Luka. While Culver was heartbroken over the whole affair, he chose to be with his girlfriend to make things work. Unsurprisingly, this puts Jaimee in a bad light.

However, according to the stew, there is more to the story than what is presented.

Jaimee further explained her point of view via Instagram.

“Hey guys, I just wanted to jump in here about Below Deck,” she began her Instagram story. “From what I hear there is obviously no reunion, I don’t know, but otherwise I just want to say a few things.”

Jaimee continued and then added: “I just want to say that I think Culver is a really great guy. I still am, and he’s a really funny, outgoing, really nice guy. That’s what attracted me to him.”

She went on to explain why things were taken out of context. “Our interview on Below Deck lasted hours. So I said a lot of good things about him, but they were never used. That being said, I also went to see him before the finale and talked to him about how everything happened so fast… At this point, I had only known him for three weeks. So I talked to him and basically said I didn’t want to be in a relationship with him yet. Of course, that game has never been played either.”

Currently, Jaimee is in a relationship with someone new. She and Culver don’t follow each other on Instagram, but as Jaimee said, she has nothing but positive feelings for her ex.
