PFL boss Donn Davis has revealed when Jake Paul will finally make his MMA debut with the company, however, there’s still a bit of a wait.
Since taking up boxing, Jake Paul has found himself also involved in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. He feuded with UFC boss Dana White over pay-per-view, fought several former UFC stars on his way to boxing stardom, and constantly taunted Conor McGregor.
It seemed only natural that ‘The Problem Kid’ would eventually trade the boxing ring for the cage not long after. So it shouldn’t have come as a surprise when he signed a multi-year deal with PFL to head up their SuperFights division.
After signing that deal, Jake attempted to negotiate a two-fight deal with Nate Diaz – a boxing match and a return fight in the PFL. That boxing clash happened, but Diaz didn’t want to help PFL.

Since then, Jake has announced his return to the boxing ring – revealing he will fight Andre August in mid-December – and said he wants to be more active in 2024. However, it seems like he will finally step into the cage.
“Jake is always Q4 because for him to get to a good standard in an MMA fight, which is deserved, he said he needed that year,” PFL boss Donn Davis revealed after his company He bought Bellator during a November 20 appearance on MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.
“He started training a month ago in a SmartCage at home. I think it’s October to December 2024.”

As noted, ‘The Problem Kid’ attempted to arrange a second fight with Nate Diaz in his debut inside the cage of the PFL. However, the Stockton native disputed that, claiming that the UFC was the only MMA organization he wanted to fight for.
Davis has noted multiple times that PFL offered Nate over $12 million to fight Jake and would be eager to make that happen. However, who knows if that will happen at this point.
