Love is Blind season 5 star Johnie took to social media to show off her new boyfriend after Chris confessed to cheating during their reunion.

Johnie Maraist had a pretty tumultuous experience on Season 5 of Love is Blind.

After falling for Izzy Zapata while in the group, he ended up breaking her heart when he chose Stacy instead. However, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for Johnie, as she and Chris Fox, who she also shares a special relationship with in the group, become an official couple.

Fans support Chris and Johnie as a couple, however some worry that Johnie will eventually break Chris’s heart because it is implied within the group that he is her “second choice.”

But in a shocking turn of events, Chris ended up cheating on Johnie, leaving her heartbroken.

However, fortunately, Johnie has found new love with a mysterious man with whom she just celebrated one year of love.

However, in a turn of events, it turns out they are no longer together due to Chris’s infidelity.

However, Johnie seems to be doing well and took to Instagram to show off his latest love interest.

She wrote in the caption while posing for a photo with her new man, “Hell was a journey but it brought me heaven. Happy New Year, Alex – thank you for showing me what true love is.”

Of course, fans of the show have been nothing but supportive of Johnie in her journey to find new love.

“So happy for you!” one fan wrote in the comments section. “As a stranger watching another stranger go through a very stressful situation and be attacked on television – you made me feel empowered by the way you handled things so well any.”

Another fan agreed and wrote: ‘He’s incredibly handsome! Better than any other option on the show. Congratulations Johnie! Both finding your man and class on the show.
