K-pop group FIFTY’s ‘Cupid’ smashes TikTok’s 2023 year-end playlist 2023

“Cupid” by FIFTY FIFTY is everywhere in 2023, especially TikTok. With the platform’s year-end report, the accelerated version takes the lead.

Formed in 2022, the group has quickly become a K-pop favorite thanks to their vibrant pop music, as evidenced by The Beginning released in September 2023.

Although the three members’ contracts were terminated, Keena still made public appearances on behalf of the band, as she did at the Billboard Music Awards. It is known that a new lineup is expected to appear in the future.

Chaos aside, they’ve had quite the breakout year. Their song “Cupid” went viral on TikTok, leading to a No. 100 debut and an eventual No. 17 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100. Within four months of their self-titled debut, they became became the K-pop band with the fastest Hot 100 entry.
