In a recent episode of Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon Ramsay spent time at an Indian food restaurant called Diwan.
Viewers are introduced to a hardworking waiter named Fernandes, to whom they are immediately attracted.
An entire Reddit thread has been taken up to discuss Fernandes and his dedication to the Diwan. Here’s what social media users are saying.
Fernandes from Diwan was an overnight sensation
The user who started the Reddit thread started the conversation by saying: “Theme appreciates Fernandes. He is there to serve customers. I really hope we can see him again.”
Another user added: “I love him so much. He loves his job and knows how to do it very well, and he doesn’t take any BS from the kitchen.”
Another person joined the conversation and said: “He is truly the best and wants the best for his customers. I like that he doesn’t care about yelling at every one of those kitchen staff, laughing loudly.”
Based on the episode, Gordon feels the same about Fernandes. While at Diwan, he praised Fernandes in front of the Kitchen Nightmares camera crew. At one point, he even used the word “awesome.”
