Krispy Kreme is set to release its holiday menu for 2023, with a brand new collection of donuts themed after the movie Leprechaun.

Fans of the movie Elf will be happy to know that Krispy Kreme is releasing a donut collection dedicated to the popular series. According to food blogger and snack researcher, Buddy The Elf fans will be able to choose from four different flavors and designs.

snackolator posted pictures of the festive dishes on their Instagram page, which subsequently received a lot of likes and comments. People were clearly excited, with one commenter saying: “I can’t wait to try these!”

It looks like these treats will only be available to US audiences, as Krispy Kreme has released their festive menu for the UK, which doesn’t feature the popular Elf designs.

What do Elf donuts look like?

As we mentioned above, there are four different designs that fans can look forward to. These are described in the Instagram post.

• Santa Belly Donut – This cake is decorated with red icing, has a Santa suit, and is filled with Kreme.
• Christmas Light Donuts – These are covered in chocolate, topped with green frosting, then sprinkled with confetti. The ice button in the middle has the words ‘Santa Claus! I know him’, a famous quote from the movie.
• Buddy Snow Globe Donut – This cake is filled with blue frosting and topped with white sprinkles on the bottom, looking like snow. A sketch of Buddy The Elf is in the center.
• Buddy Makes Breakfast Donut – This has white frosting and is topped with colorful candy pieces to simulate Buddy’s breakfast in the movie.

These are speculated to arrive the first Monday after Thanksgiving and will be available for fans to purchase until Christmas Eve.

Starbucks has also released their holiday menu for 2023, which includes some returning classics as well as some new surprises.
