YouTube star KSI has been called up by former world boxing champion Ryan Garica, with the lightweight giving him a fighting chance
While many boxing fans and experts have dismissed influential boxing events, there are still some fighters who participate in it. Naturally, Floyd Mayweather will be the standout since he fought Logan Paul and Deji, but former lightweight champion Ryan ‘KingRy’ Garcia is also there.
Garcia is an influential boxing defender who praised Jake Paul in April 2022 and said he deserved more recognition for what he had accomplished in the ring up to that point .
However, KingRy has also butted heads with some creators. Most recently, KSI has been a bit annoying for him. The British content creator questioned whether his next fight with Oscar Duarte would take place on PPV, which Garcia shot down.
KSI and Ryan Garcia clashed online and had a fight offer
Since then, KSI accused the former lightweight champion of “robbing” fans in his last fight with Gervonta Davis – which was also the first loss of his career.
Garcia accused the YouTuber of “satire” on him and wanted KSI to stop mentioning him. “KSI is too sweet with me for no reason at all. He couldn’t go as far with me as he claimed. He is a 7-headed monster. Stop calling me names,” he said.
However, it doesn’t end there. The lightweight star took it to Instagram DMs and offered KSI a chance to fight. “If you want to fight, let me know or stop calling me names!” he say.
KSI doesn’t seem to respond to that, and there may be good reason since he’s set to fight Tommy Fury on October 14.
However, it seems highly unlikely that he and Garcia will actually fight, as KSI has stated that he will likely retire after the Fury fight.
