Love is blind: Here’s why Izzy Zapata’s Instagram comments are still off limits 2023

After participating in a reality TV show like Love is Blind, social media users will let you know what they think of you. That’s exactly what happened to Izzy Zapata from Season 5.

Season 5 of Love is Blind may have ended, but the conversation surrounding the show and its cast hasn’t died down. Izzy Zapata is one of the show’s memorable contestants.

Initially, he signed up because he was looking for love. In fact, he’s so excited about the prospect of finding love that he’s willing to marry a complete stranger without laying eyes on her first.

Even though he walked down the aisle with Stacy Snyder, things ultimately didn’t work out for the duo. As of now, his comments on Instagram have been completely disabled. He did not allow any new comments to be included. This could be the reason why.

Izzy Zapata has received tons of backlash on Instagram

Aside from Instagram posts where Izzy is a contributor, any content he posts from his own account has comments disabled. Only a select few comments were able to get by before he shut them down – and a lot of the messages from fans were quite negative.

The most obvious reason for all this backlash is the temporary love triangle he got into with Stacy and Johnie Maraist. While everyone was still in the compartment, Izzy seemed mesmerized by Johnie’s voice and energy.

But when she opened up about the extreme pain she had suffered in the past, he was completely silent towards her. He abandoned her and decided to pursue his relationship with Stacy.

When Stacy and Izzy seemed to snap at Johnie during the barbecue episode, it caused many viewers to start questioning Izzy’s integrity and honesty.

Another topic that people are judging Izzy on is his finances. Credit score, job title, desire to get 50/50 on bills with Stacy, and current debt situation are hot topics of discussion throughout Part 5.

He went public with his new relationship on Instagram with a woman named Shelby Webb on October 17, 2023. Of course, comments on that post as well as others were also restricted.

It’s clear that he doesn’t like the wave of opinions flooding in from Love is Blind viewers online. It’s unclear when Izzy’s commentary will be turned back on – if ever.
