A man jumped into the frigid waters of Epcot lagoon at Disney for a $60,000 bet – but was it worth it?

So when a man jumped into the lagoon at Epcot, bystanders urged him to run quickly so that security wouldn’t catch him and ban him from Disney.

The lagoon at Epcot is surrounded by many countries within the theme park. Although there are boats across the water, swimming is not allowed in the lagoon.

So when a man jumped into a 25-foot-deep lagoon, he was urged to flee after regaining his sea legs, because people didn’t want him to be banned from Disney.

But why did he jump into the water? Well, the man allegedly said he would be rewarded with $60,000 if he did so.

After he mustered up the courage to jump off a small bridge, people behind him could be heard saying, “Run fast, run away” and “Run faster.”

The person filming the video can also be heard laughing as the man swims to a gondola to take him back to land.

People who saw the viral TikTok video commented, “And he was never seen at Disney again.”

Like “60 thousand dollars? You’ll see me running and jumping off that bridge before he even thinks about it, haha.”

Many people even mentioned how dirty the water must be and said, “I can only imagine how dirty that water must be from fireworks debris every night.”

And, “I can confirm that it was a quantity of raw water.”

Although some people also mentioned in the comments section that the man who jumped into the water only received $6,000, the poster said he could neither confirm nor deny the amount he was paid.

It is currently unknown whether the jumpsuit will be banned at Disney or not. However, that is expected since he violated their rules and regulations.
