A viral post on X/Twitter shows a man pulling what looks like a rubber glove out of his pizza, leaving commenters debating whether the video is real or not.
In the X/Twitter post, news source 6ixBuzzTVwho has over 90000 followers, posted an unoriginal video on their account.
The description simply states: “Someone claims they found rubber gloves in their food from a Pizza Pizza location in Ontario.” The video left many viewers wondering, showing the pizza in question. Everything looked harmless until the man started looking underneath the cheese.
A blue item appears at the bottom of the pizza, which seems to bounce back when they cling to it. The person in question can be heard saying: “There’s fucking plastic in here.”
As the video continues, it is revealed that the item in question is a rubber glove, which appears to be baked into the base of the pizza.
Viewers called out the fast food chain PizzaTag them and solicit feedback from the company.
Is the video real?
There is no doubt that X/Twitter has a lot of fake videos lurking on the platform, as demonstrated by the skeptical comments below: “I call this bullshit. It’s impossible not to see a big blue glove when rolling dough, or when pouring sauce, etc….”
However, most people seemed convinced by the footage, saying, “I’m not really surprised” and “It’s not really a statement – it seems true.”
One thing is certain: viewers have some hostility toward the fast food chain. The comments section is flooded with claims that Pizza Pizza is “the worst pizza out there.”
One commenter speculated: “Probably noticed it because it doesn’t taste like cardboard,” while another agreed “I mean it’s hard to add flavor to a piece of cardboard.”
Another advised the person in the video to “Eat the glove and throw away the rest,” saying: “I promise you that was the best part of that pizza.”
The brand has not yet addressed whether the claims in the video are true or false.
