During the protest, Marama was hit by a bicycle. This incident happened in Auckland located in New Zealand. She was immediately taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. According to eyewitnesses, Davidson was walking on the sidewalk when the bicycle driving on the street turned onto the sidewalk and collided with her.

However, the motorcyclist did not flee the scene but stayed there and cooperated with the police. Police filed a charge of careless driving causing injury. Her followers are worried about her and want to receive updates on her current health. She used her Twitter account to say thank you to everyone who stood by her during the difficult times. She even informed our followers that she was fine and said thank you to the medical staff.
