TikTok can’t do without McDonald’s color-changing cups as these novelty items are going viral. However, don’t bet on getting one for yourself anytime soon.
McDonald’s is known for their innovative products. From their Grimace themed Christmas sweater to their colab crocs, there is always something new that customers can buy.
Now they have launched a range of color-changing cups in a variety of colours, including Charcoal, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red and Pink.
When you first look at them, they are a simple dark gray color, but when you start pouring liquid into them, the cups transform.
After videos of TikTokers being surprised by these color-changing cups were posted, people were desperate to get their hands on the product.
Can I get McDonald’s color-changing cups?
In the comments section of a video that has garnered more than 6 million views, people are desperate to find these cups at their local McDonald’s.
“I need to get to Maccies as soon as possible,” one person declared. “Where can I get one?” another asked.
Many US commentators were disappointed after discovering the cup was not available in their local store, lamenting: “I wish this cup was available in the US.”
Some commentators suggest it could arrive in both the US and UK in December, saying: “They will be available nationwide from December 1 to 14.”
Despite speculation from customers, McDonald’s has not yet announced whether this will happen. Currently, they’re exclusive to stores in the Philippines, so unless you live there, you’re out of luck.
This isn’t the first time customers have been craving McDonald’s international dishes, as McDonald’s Germany has announced that it will be releasing pizza bags.
