McDonald’s has set TikTok ablaze with its new Hello Kitty Box, leaving everyone clamoring to get their hands on one. Here’s what you need to know about them.
If you’ve been scrolling through TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen a lot of videos featuring the Hello Kitty group.
Original video shared by TikTok account, ‘Sanrio content only.’ It had a resurgence this month and became the talk of the town. In the video, we see a McDonald’s employee opening a plastic bucket shaped like the head of the famous Sanrio character.
They then continued to put chips and drinks into the bin, before cutting off the handle to close the bin so customers could take it with them.
Since then, these buckets have gone viral and many customers have shared their own Hello Kitty buckets.
How can I get a Hello Kitty Box?
Fans were excited to get their hands on the Hello Kitty bucket and asked, “Where do I get this!?” and “I really need it.”
Many people were disappointed to learn that the buckets were not sold at their local McDonald’s and asked when they would be available in the US.
Unfortunately, these buckets were only sold in Singapore during 2019 and have not been available for purchase since then.
They cost $7.90 and can be purchased instead of regular brown paper bags. McDonald’s has not yet resolved the request to return the bucket.
However, fans can find some on Ebay, which are currently for sale there.
