McDonald’s is bringing back the McRib and the Internet doesn’t know how to feel 2023

When McDonald’s brought back the McRib to participating locations, the Internet wasn’t sure how they felt about the savory sandwich’s return.

McDonald’s McRib is easily one of the most popular sandwiches in the restaurant chain. Although it has weaved its way in and out of McDonald’s menus over the years, it’s finally ready to make a comeback.

The McRib will only be sold at participating locations and won’t be back for long — so fans of the savory sandwich will have to act fast.

Although it is one of McDonald’s most popular products, customers have reacted to its return with mixed opinions, taking to the internet to share how delicious they think the McRib is.

The McRib will return to McDonald’s in November

The McRib first appeared at McDonald’s across the United States in 1981. The sandwich consisted of barbecue sauce, pork ribs, pickles and onions placed between a long bun.

It was taken off the menu several times and returned in 2020 after eight years without it. Since then, it was introduced for a limited period of time. The McRib also went on a ‘farewell tour’ in 2022, where it was on the McDonald’s menu for those who praised its deliciousness over the years.

Although the ‘farewell tour’ has ended, McRib will return once again to participating venues this November. While many McDonald’s customers love the sandwich, others aren’t so happy about its return.

Following the announcement of the McRib’s return, disgruntled McDonald’s fans took to the internet to share their objections, saying: “We don’t want those bulls—t, bring back the package Snack.”

Many others agreed, saying they wanted McDonald’s to bring back the chicken snack patty with a selection of sauces, cheese and lettuce.

One person even considered the McRib annoying and argued with McDonald’s in the US to add tastier items to the menu, saying: “The McRib is annoying. Like why can’t we get a new food item that other countries have? Can’t even get a damn snack.”

However, some people were quite pleased with the McRib’s announcement and said: “Glad that this isn’t the last time we can all enjoy this. It’s a shame it’s not a permanent part of the menu.”

Additionally, “McRib is back! Let’s go!”

While another joked about it constantly coming back to the menu, saying, “Don’t care about this abusive relationship, lol.”

The McRib isn’t the only McDonald’s item returning to the menu. Various locations are also now offering Spicy McNuggets as well as Pumpkin Pie & Ice Cream. And while the McRib will only be back for a limited time, it’s clear that the hate-it-or-love-it sandwich has earned its rightful place on McDonald’s menus after many years of success.
