Nijisanji’s Mika Melatika has announced that she will graduate before the end of the year as she sees the VTuber company prepare to lose its most successful Gan Indonesia.
As one of the largest VTuber dealerships on the planet, it goes without saying that Nijisanji is extremely successful.
However, despite that success, it still faces some difficulties in retaining talent with some Gans pointing to 2023 alone. From Zaion Lanza’s messy firing to Nina Kosaka & Mysta Rias’s graduation, it hasn’t been an easy year for Nijisanji.
The situation doesn’t seem to be improving either as another big name has now decided to leave and announced she will graduate.
Mika Melatika graduated from Nijisanji school
Mika Melatika confirmed on Twitter that she will graduate from Nijisanji on December 28, 2023. Translating the original announcement from the Nijisanji Indonesia account, Mika stated: “I will stop my VTuber activities with Nijisanji on December 28, 2023.”
“It was a life-changing moment. Over the past 2 years, I’ve met so many amazing individuals and incredible creatives. Being a part of this community and Melaticults and Pakuchampers is a dream come true.”
The praise continued for her loyal fans as Mika looked back fondly on the memories and laughter they shared together. She also admitted to having a few regrets about the things she hasn’t done for her fans and hopes to get the job done for them before the end of December.
Speaking about Nijisanji itself, Mika continued: “I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Nijisanji, but most of all I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your lives, even if just a little. If you ever stop by my steam – thank you!
The former Nijisanji ID member concluded by encouraging her fans to spend their last days together and make more memories before graduation.
