A mother shocked McDonald’s customers when she revealed a secret $5 combo that isn’t on the official menu and comes with a ton of dishes.
It’s not exactly a secret that McDonald’s hides menu items, but combos, on the other hand, are a different story, especially when you want to get the most bang for your buck.
McDonald’s combos usually focus on staples like Big Macs and McChickens, but one mom has found a better way to save money and keep her kids full.
In a clip viewed more than 500,000 times on TikTok, user ‘Brittney’ revealed the secret $5 combo that wasn’t on the menu and showed how she got it in a drive-through.
While driving through, Brittney simply asked for a “$5 meal” before being asked by the employee if she wanted a double cheeseburger or a McChicken. However, the driver asked her more about the sauce for her nuggets, suggesting that there was more to the deal than that.
At home a moment later, Brittney opened her bag and showed that there was a lot more in the combo. In addition to the double cheeseburger, she also got four chicken nuggets, one just fried, and a drink on top.
“You can’t beat that,” she proudly declared. “And I bought it for my child.”
Users in the comments section were immediately surprised by the secret combination, comparing it to deals they’ve seen at Wendy’s before. However, not everyone believes it will be effective in their area.
“We don’t have this in California. We went to Mississippi and they had it. I’m stunned,” one person commented.
“I need this!” compliment others.
“This deal is on the McDonald’s app,” another person replied, prompting Brittney to answer why it wasn’t on the app in her area. “My guess is that different location areas will have different deals.”
“I’m in NY and this is called a $5 fan meal,” another said.

The general consensus is that while this deal is available in New York state, other places will only offer it on the McDonald’s app, and still others won’t even have the combo, so be sure to check that out. Are you qualified or not before trying.
That said, this is definitely a quick way to save some cash and get a pretty good deal on food, if your McDonald’s has this deal of course.
