MrBeast faces backlash after teasing “terrifying” 100-day challenge with $500K prize 2023

MrBeast is facing backlash online after teasing his possible next challenge and social experiment could involve two strangers isolating themselves in a room for 100 days to win 500K.

MrBeast is one of the most famous and influential content creators in the world. Throughout his career in social media, MrBeast has made a name for himself through various complex social experiments that he created and replicated.

One of his most popular videos to date is when he created his own version of the Squid Game. Now, however, MrBeast has revealed what his next experiment will be, and which influencer will be involved social media to sketch out a simple but difficult scenario.

“Would you want to spend 100 days in this room with a random stranger for $500,000? (The door is unlocked, if either of them leaves before the 100th day they both lose.)” While many people commented on the Twitter post saying that the challenge was easy, others had reactions was less positive about this revelation.

Some have argued that they found the aesthetics of the room as well as the challenge itself to be a kind of “torture” for some.

“I’m pretty sure not seeing sunlight for 100 days is actually a safety hazard,” one Twitter user wrote. Another added: “Each video gets closer and closer to the Hostel feel. Can’t wait to spend some money on a Lamborghini.”

“What about safety?” Added another one. “If that person comes at you with a knife, I hope you can leave and not be punished.”

Time will tell how the 100-day challenge might play out, whether it will happen at all, and whether MrBeast will take these criticisms into account. However, he did confirm that “I’m about to do this experiment, let’s see how they do it.”
