According to sources, it was around 1:40 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023. The hiker fell from a height of 30 meters while hiking up Beerwah Mountain. Reports also said the victim was with her friend when she plunged from Mt Beerwah to her death. News of the hiker’s death by plumbing 30 meters away came after a paraglider crashed into a cliff. According to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson, the paraglider jumped from Organ Pipes Road but unfortunately he was thrown into the side of the cliff. The spokesman added, “it appears he was launched and was blown back by the wind and hit the mountain.” The paraglider involved in the accident is in his 50s and is currently suffering from serious injuries to his chest, head and spine. He also broke his leg in the accident. The victim was rescued and taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital by ambulance. He was in critical condition when taken to the hospital.
