Nicki Minaj is back with revenge. With her long-awaited sequel, Pink Friday 2, Minaj proves she’s musically gifted and on top of her spitting game. From sampling Billie Eilish and Cyndi Lauper to moving from sensitive ballads to blistering verses, she’s as good as ever.
At the time of this writing, the album has risen to No. 1 on iTunes, with speculation that she could achieve enough pure units to make an impression on the Billboard 200 chart.
With one of the album’s essential cuts, the rapper didn’t hesitate to cut out a few bars.

Nicki Minaj criticizes Megan Thee Stallion on “FTCU”
With “FTCU,” from Pink Friday 2, Nicki Minaj takes a dig at Megan Thee Stallion with one of her sharper lyrics.
“Stay in your Tory lane, bitch, I’m not Iggy,” she said.
Just as fans speculated, this line can be a reference to Megan Thee Stallion for “infamously stealing Iggy Azalea’s entire career,” they wrote, adding a side-by-side comparison of their music.
There’s someone else this particular lyric could be about. Fans took to Genius.com, a popular lyric writing website, to add quotes to the lyrics.
“Nicki could also come in for Meghann Cuniff, a legal journalist commonly known as ‘MeghannTheeReporter’ who has covered the Megan and Tory case extensively,” they suggested.
Cuniff reportedly shared a letter from Iggy Azalea — in which Azalea wrote about Tory Lanez’s character in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting. Cuniff also reported on the rape of Kenneth Petty (Minaj’s husband) from 1995. “Stay in your Tory lane,” may just be a reference to both cases here.
As usual, Nicki Minaj uses the power of words to cover her personal life in secret. We may never know the true intentions behind the lyrics, but either way, she wasn’t happy at all. Time will tell whether Megan Thee Stallion will respond or not.
