Paul Murray was a regular morning announcer on the 2UE program “A Sydney Morning”. Before joining the 2UE show, Paul worked in Triple M(2005-2010), Nova 696(2001-2004), 2SM(1999-2001), and 2GB(1998-2000) and then again on in 2004. In 2005, Paul resigned from Nova696 to pursue a career in television. That same year, in November, Paul Murray began reporting and broadcasting segments for the Seven Network’s morning news and variety show ‘Sunrise’ and furthermore Paul became a regular guest on ‘Weekend’ Sunrise’. In March 2006, Paul hosted as the new Triple M network broadcaster Monday to Thursday, 6-7pm, with a one-hour news radio show called ‘The Paul Hour’. In July, the Triple M network was replaced by Murray’s show with an hour of 80s music, but in August returned to hosting a familiar show, ‘The Paul Murray Show’, but in the hours 7-9 p.m. In 2007, Lisa Millard joined as co-host of ‘The Paul Murray Show’ and the show began airing in many cities across Australia. In 2008, Paul joined The Shebang with Marty Sheargold alongside Fifi Box on Triple M’s Sydney breakfast shift and began co-hosting the short-lived chat show ‘The Night Cap’ on 7HD. He even joined Sky News Australia, where he began hosting ‘180 with Paul Murray’ (now known as Paul Murray Live). In early 2009, Paul began hosting the brand new Paul Murray show on Triple M in Sydney on weekends 7-10pm. Later that year, Paul was replaced by Ugly Phil and began hosting the drive-in show “Paul & Rach” with Rachel Corbett.
