Due to an emergency at Point Clare railway station, trains between Hornsby and Gosford on the Central Coast and Newcastle lines have been suspended. Authorities urged passengers to use buses instead. Transport for NSW said: “Passengers should delay their travel. Trains are still running between Gosford and Newcastle as well as from Hawkesbury River station into the city.” But services have since resumed and trains are running again between the Hawkesbury River and Gosford in both directions.
