Pokimane has stated that she vows to do “better” amid controversy surrounding her recently launched snack company.
Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys’s first product launch was controversial, to say the least. The Twitch star unveiled her health-conscious snack company, Myna Snacks, on November 13, but it almost immediately came under fire after fans alleged that the snacks had Similarities with a cheaper brand despite the significantly higher price.
The situation escalated when Pokimane labeled the fan complaining about the price “broken,” which she later claimed was “100% intended as a joke.”
After a crazy few weeks, Pokimane took to Instagram to reflect on the experience and express her intentions for personal growth.

“I have been reflecting on the past few days and first of all, I want to thank everyone who has been supportive and understanding,” Pokimane shared in her Instagram story.
“I realized that I was focusing too much on negative things/people and reacting in ways that were not conducive to becoming the best version of myself,” she said, adding, “It was so silly in saying that because I’ve been creating content for so long, I should have known better but it happened, lol.”
“No matter what, I am determined to handle things better in the future and realize that stooping so low to get back at others is futile.”
Pokimane’s update appears to be a response to recent comments as well as her own handling of the backlash, and comes not long after responding to xQc’s “unbiased” review of cookies.
xQc was one of many streamers to express their thoughts on the snack and shared: “The aftertaste makes me uncomfortable. It makes me uncomfortable.” xQc ultimately rated the snack 5/10 and suggested that improvements needed to be made.
Later, when asked by Kai Cenat if she had seen xQc’s review of the cookies, Pokimane replied, “Sometimes, other people’s opinions are none of my business,” before saying adding that she believes xQc has “an issue” with her. It.
