QTCinderella & Maya Higa’s Gala for Good raises $250K for Rainforest charities 2023

QTCinderella and Maya Higa’s Gala for Good ultimately raised approximately $250,000 for charities benefiting the Rainforest and conservation efforts.

Twitch star QTCinderella continues to create outstanding events for her streamers and viewers alike, this time bringing together many of the top creators for a charity auction over the weekend of September 30th. 9.

Together, she and Maya Higa—known for founding her own animal sanctuary, Alveus—created an event called ‘Gala for Good’, where streamers attended in the best outfits inspired by the Rainforest.

Together, the streamers auctioned off some of their most valuable items. These items include, but are certainly not limited to: Jarvis Johnson’s boxing gloves, Peter Parker’s Scarra body pillow, and… Alinity’s sweaty shorts.

That’s not all; Streamers can also bid for dates with certain creators, with Alinity notably scoring a date with Stranger Things star and Twitch streamer Grace Van Dien. The event was also sponsored by none other than Marvel Snap, with a fun commercial starring none other than Ludwig.

Gala for Good raised $250k for Rainforest charities

Combined with fan donations, the Gala for Good ultimately raised a total of approximately $250,000 for five different Rainforest charities: Rainforest Foundation, Amazon Watch, World Wildlife Fund, US Rainforest Trust and Rainforest Alliance.

QTCinderella thanked her fans in a tweet on October 2, while also expressing gratitude to both participating streamers and viewers in the chat who donated. donate their time and money to participate in the Gala.

“I’m so grateful for everyone donating their time, I’m so grateful for all the items,” she said. “I am very grateful to you for my money. I’m so grateful to you guys for chatting all this time. I just can’t say it enough.”

QT’s charity auction is just the latest major Twitch charity event to go viral online following CDawgVA’s charity auction earlier this year, which saw the streamer raise $329,000 to the Immune Deficiency Foundation and $14,000 to Make-A-Wish America.
