RHOBH’s Dorit Kemsley addressed her marriage to Paul “PK” Kemsley, saying they are “focused on making it work.”
Even though Season 13 of RHOBH kicked off Wednesday to address Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s relationship, co-stars Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley had to do some damage control over the woes in their own marriage.
Rumors of divorce and living apart are so constant that Dorit and PK recently opened up to People about their marital situation.
Even though they were focused on healing, Dorit admits that she and PK encountered their fair share of difficulties.
Dorit Kemsley said she and PK are a “united couple”
Dorit and PK have been married for eight years after meeting at a restaurant in New York in 2011.
Although Dorit and PK have seemingly had a strong bond since joining RHOBH in Season 7 in 2016, they have recently encountered challenges.
Speaking to People about her marriage, Dorit explained, “We remain committed to working through these issues as a couple united for our family. We have not broken up and have no intention of doing so.”
“Instead, we focus on healing, making changes, and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage,” Dorit continues.
She then asked fans to understand that she and PK need their privacy, saying, “We would be grateful if everyone would understand. We are doing what we can to focus on the best interests of our family, instead of spending time arguing with rumors and untrue rumors.”

Rumors of a divorce between Dorit and PK arose when RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne said that she believes they are the next couple heading towards a separation during BravoCon in 2022.
Erika even asked Dorit during the RHOBH Season 13 premiere if her marriage was strong, to which Dorit replied, “My marriage is very strong.”
Although Dorit has made it clear to People that she and PK are not divorcing, during Wednesday’s episode she said that although she sometimes “needs” PK, “he’s not there.” .
