That doesn’t stop Sega from celebrating as April Fools’ Day is yet to come in 2023. The company is ready to launch its new game to its beloved fans and the public for their entertainment. They have released the trailer of the game and it seems like the public is loving it and waiting for the game to release. The company has announced The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog game. It may be a joke but it’s actually a real game.

The game is currently available on Steam and takes about 70 minutes to complete. However, you can also complete the game in less time if you want. It is an adventure game in which the player receives text-based clues and by using them, the player has to solve the mystery. This new game that Sega launched is described as a visual novelty. The adventure takes place on Amy’s birthday. Amy throws a Murder Mystery Party for all her friends. On the Mirage Express, Sonic becomes a victim throughout the game, and from that point on, it’s the player’s responsibility to get to the bottom of things.

The company also mentioned that at some point, players must interrogate their beloved Sonic characters to find out what happened to the blue blur. The company also informed the public that they can also play as new characters if they want. The new character will be the one starting their first day of work. Using clues, the player must find the suspect. The clues will help players prove the suspect’s alibi to find out who the killer is and who killed Sonic in the Glass Onion-style Murder mystery.

The company also said there will be mini-run levels where players can control their Sonic character and collect rings while dodging obstacles.
