In January 2023, Kathryn revealed in a statement that she would not appear in Southern Charm Season 9.

“I will carry that love with me as I enter the next chapter of my life, out of the lens of Southern Charm,” she wrote. “I am grateful to Bravo, the producers at Haymaker, and my Charleston co-stars for everything.”

Following her departure, it was rumored that the producer fired Kathryn and ex-boyfriend Chleb after she accused him of assaulting her during an argument. However, this information has not been confirmed.
