Spotify Wrapped 2023 is finally here, and now you can create a Blend playlist with some of your closest friends to share your top songs and genres. Here’s what you need to know.
Over the past few years, as the calendar got ready to move from November to December, Spotify users eagerly awaited the launch of Spotify Wrapped.
Wrapped brings together all your listening statistics over the past 12 months, creating bespoke playlists based on your preferences. Oh, and there are fun graphics of your favorite artists, songs, and podcasts that you can share with friends and on social media. That’s a big part of everything.
This year is no different, Wrapped will finally launch on November 29. However, there is another installment – Blend.
How to get the Spotify Wrapped 2023 Blend playlist
Blend has been on Spotify for a while, but now it’s getting a lot more love with Wrapped.
It basically allows you to invite a group of friends to create a daily playlist. Spotify does all the work for you by combining your closest musical tastes together. So if you have a group of friends who love Taylor Swift and The 1975, you’ll have plenty of their songs on there – along with songs that fit the vibe.
It’s also quite easy to do. Simply go to the Finished section on the Spotify mobile app, click Create Mix, and you can start inviting your friends.
- Open the Spotify app
- Scroll to the Wrapped section
- Click ‘Create Mix’
- Invite your friends to Blend
- Once they’ve joined, your Blend playlist will appear!
Once a few friends join, Spotify will start combining your music tastes to create playlists that are updated daily.
Additionally, you can also look at your ‘Mix Stories’ to see which of your friends have the closest musical tastes – if you don’t already know that.
