A woman’s car was destroyed by fire but somehow her Stanley Tumbler survived the ordeal. Now, the company is looking to help her.
Sometimes things happen for a reason, even if it seems unfounded at the time.
Danielle, who uses ‘danimarielettering’ on TikTok, was left stranded in a car after her vehicle was destroyed by fire. However, the reach of the fire does not cover everything.
Showing off the aftermath, a confused Danielle left the platform after revealing that her Stanley Tumbler had not only miraculously survived the ordeal, but that it still had ice inside.
Overwhelmed by the cup’s cooling capabilities, many people called on Stanley to take notice of Danielle’s free, albeit unintentional, marketing — and the company certainly did.
Closing his video, Stanley’s global president, Terence Reilly, responded: “We all saw your video… and we’re all really glad you’re safe. Thanks for sharing the video because wow, it really shows that our Stanleys are built for life.”
Citing Danielle’s video as proof of the cup’s “quality,” Terence decided to make a one-time offer; “I’ve seen a lot of comments saying we should send you some Stanleys, we’ll send you some Stanleys. But one more thing… we want to replace your car.”
Terence admitted the company had never done anything similar before and would probably “never do it again,” with viewers applauding the company’s honesty.
Danielle was also surprised by the proposal, posting a second video in which she admitted she “almost” passed out when she heard the news. She also declared that the surviving Stanley would be kept as a souvenir, although it could hardly be used for drinking anymore.
