A Twitch streamer’s chat left his stove destroyed after a remote-controlled robot slammed a pan down on one of the burners so hard it broke.

Have you ever heard of Twitch Plays Pokemon? This social experiment saw over a million participants gather on Twitch to control a character in a red Nintendo Pokemon outfit, typing instructions in chat to move the game along.

Since then, other similar events have occurred on multiple streaming platforms where the chat controlled the outcome of the broadcast (including but not limited to the TikToker NPC trend we reported on). appear this year).

Now, Twitch streamer and VTuber ‘uwu_to_owo’ has created another wild experiment for his chat to do… this time in an attempt to make fried rice.

The Twitch streamer’s chat managed to destroy his stove

A self-proclaimed ‘Mad Scientist’, uwu_to_owo has built a remote-controlled robotic arm capable of performing three tasks: Throwing a pan, stirring the pan, and adding seasoning to said pan.

Viewers can type three commands in chat to perform these actions, with the ultimate goal of cooking a pan of fried rice.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned (shocker). The final command to throw the pan slammed the kitchen utensil down onto the burner so hard that any and all of the ingredients inside were splattered across the stove.

However, that’s not the worst part of it. The final act of banging the pan actually broke the burner, causing a hilarious and shocked reaction from the streamer, who could only ask his chat: “What the hell?”

While the experiment was certainly a fun one, uwu_to_owo admitted that it “never worked” – but his ‘rice cooker’ certainly made the internet laugh.

However, this isn’t the craziest thing a Twitch streamer has done during a broadcast. In June, Erobb’s chat sought to shut down a game he was playing on a sponsored stream by abusing his channel’s rewards system.
