Twitch streamer Adept has been unexpectedly banned from the platform, a punishment that comes just days after her most recent controversy surrounding comments she made about former partner xQc.
Content creator and Twitch streamer Adept has been banned from the platform.
At the time of writing, the exact reason for Adept’s ban remains unclear, and the streamer himself has yet to speak out about it elsewhere on social media. However, we’ll be sure to update this section as more verifiable information about the ban is revealed, so be sure to check back.
Currently, leading online debates claim Adept went online on October 3 and started sharing various private direct messages without the consent of those involved. Take this information with a grain of salt until confirmed, though.
While Adept is a successful content creator, many will also know her as the former partner of streamer xQc. Although the two were together for many years, their relationship fell apart in 2022. Since then, the two have slowly started revealing why they broke up.
In March 2023, xQc explained that they broke up again, claiming he was forced to choose between “family” and his ex Adept. xQc then revealed that he ultimately chose his family.
More recently, Adept has appeared and made many statements about xQc on her broadcast channels. Just last week, Dexerto reported on Adept accusing xQc of paying Twitch mods for sexual acts.
In a series of Instagram posts, Adept wrote, “Any streamers out there who are desperate enough to have sex with their main moderators when they’re lonely…don’t talk about it with them over Discord .” The content creator then added, “Preaching about “choices” in life when you choose to pay thousands of dollars in mods for you?”
Time will tell exactly how long Adept has been banned and how long the ban will last.
