This brand started in 1923. It started in Oxford, England. The company then moved to Abingdon, England in 1930. The car remained until production ceased in 1980.

The name “Midget” was first used by MG in 1929 for the brand’s first children’s sports car, based on the newly introduced Morris Minor. The company has launched several models – Type C, Type D, Type F and the famous Type K Magnet. The latter is mainly used for racing.
