A letter from an Uttar Pradesh police officer has gone viral on social media. This letter was written because his wife was unhappy. A constable of Nautanwa police station in Maharajganj district has applied for leave. Constable got married last month. Since then he has been serving at Nautanwa police station in UP’s Maharajganj district. The police officer is from Mau district. He was posted at PRB on the India-Nepal border.
In his leave application, the police officer wrote that his wife was angry with him. His wife doesn’t talk to him on the phone. Because he won’t get any leave. The letter also said he called her many times but she gave the phone to her mother. Don’t talk to him.
He promised his wife he would come home for his nephew’s birthday
According to media reports, the police officer mentioned in the letter that he had promised his wife that he would come home on his nephew’s birthday. But it’s impossible to go home without taking leave.
After reading the leave application, the Assistant Superintendent (ASP) granted 5 days of regular leave to the policemen from January 10. Additionally, the SP said that the policemen on duty are allowed to go as required, but special care should be taken to ensure that there is no disruption in the duty system due to leave.
