A model on TikTok was devastated after learning that someone had created an AI deepfake video showing her getting dressed.
Throughout 2023, more and more videos and images were uploaded to the internet depicting influencers in some sort of lewd fashion.
These videos or images are called deepfakes. This topic became famous when Twitch streamer Atrioc leaked a website featuring AI versions of female broadcasters.
In an interview with The Daily Star, model Nadia Zalecka revealed she felt shocked after discovering someone had used AI to create a deepfake video of her getting dressed.
Model in pain after AI faked her appearance
Zalecka is a model represented by Not Another Intl in Dublin, Ireland and has over 80,000 followers on her own TikTok page.
In most of her videos, Nadia starts from scratch and builds an outfit for her fans to check out. Unfortunately, one of the clips was downloaded by bad guys. They changed her face and name, made her take off her clothes and uploaded it to Instagram.
“It’s so scary. One of my TikTok followers happened to see it and tagged me. People need to realize how bad it really is,” she told the Daily Star.
“It’s scary to see my video being manipulated so easily, filled with comments praising and supporting this fake person without them knowing that it’s completely fake and my body is being taken advantage of. use.”
The TikToker/Model revealed that she wouldn’t have found it if one of her followers hadn’t sent it to her, and this isn’t the first time someone has used her image.
“I’ve had people impersonate me on dating apps,” she said before revealing that her photos also appeared on the website “AI Undress,” which made her uncomfortable and that so gross.
Similarly, YouTuber MrBeast urged people to use his image to create fake “scam” ads and post them on TikTok.
