A TikToker has been applauded by viewers for breaking up with her boyfriend after he refused to take toilet paper while she was going to the bathroom.
Content creator Jess Jacobsen (oohhjesss) went viral on TikTok after she talked about how a seemingly harmless situation led to a breakup.
In a short clip with 10.4 million views, Jess said she was at her husband’s house and went into his bathroom to “poo” when she discovered there was no toilet paper. “Hell, I said, ‘Hey honey, can you get me some toilet paper?’” she recalls.
However, her boyfriend refused to help, claiming that he had told her that the bathroom was out of toilet paper. “So I explained to him that he was my only choice. I can’t go downstairs and get toilet paper. You have to come down and get it for me. He just said no,” Jess said.
“Then he asked me, ‘Do you choose number 1 or number 2? Because if you just urinate, you can use the towel right there to wipe it. I said, ‘Actually there’s no way in the fucking world that I would use our towel to wipe my ass.’”
The man then started ignoring her completely, which caused the frustrated TikToker to scream for help from his neighbors. “I said, ‘Help! Help me!’” Jess exclaims in the clip. “You’re so dramatic,” she recalled him telling her before giving up.
“He stormed off and went down the stairs. He turned around, slammed the door and threw the toilet paper at my head. I cried. I did and no, it was actually one of the craziest things anyone has ever done to me.” Jess ends the video.
TikTok users flooded the comments section to criticize the man’s actions. “That’s a red flag that I didn’t know existed,” one person wrote. “You shouldn’t even break up with him. He deserves to be haunted,” another person said. “Where do you find guys like this? That’s crazy,” a third added.
