A TikToker has gone viral with her trick for getting cheap McDonald’s meals “every time” she stops by for food. However, not everyone can participate.

In the case of TikToker Caroline.Shops, she’s a frugal person, but her ability to save goes beyond finding clothes and furniture. She’s also pretty good at finding tips for McDonald’s.
TikToker reveals easy trick to get a McDonald’s meal for half the price
In fact, Caroline went viral in early October after she revealed how to create a meal that’s at least 50% off the regular price – at least in the UK.
The TikToker notes that purchasing a cheap food item — usually a small drink — will earn you a code to submit feedback on the McDonald’s website. However, you don’t need to fill out these questions and can get everything done in just a few clicks.
After providing your email address, you’ll receive a code to get the meal for £1.99 – with options including Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, 6 nuggets and McPlant. Combine that with buying a small drink and it’ll set you back around £3.18 – half the price of a normal meal.
Some viewers noted that they had been doing the same thing “for years” but not everyone took advantage of it. One person took things up a notch commented: “Order the dip next time, 10 cents still get the receipt.”
Others say their local McDonald’s doesn’t always issue paper receipts, making it much more difficult for them to use this trick. However, if it is, you can also take advantage of it. After all, who doesn’t love a cheap meal?
