Payton McNabb was hit in the face with a volleyball last fall by a bionic man impersonating a woman, resulting in head and neck injuries. Friday, McNabb appeared on America’s Newsroom on Fox News to share his story and call on Congress to enact change. Before passing the Senate, North Carolina’s measure only needs to pass one more committee. Because Republicans have veto-proof majorities in both chambers, Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s ability to veto the bill is limited. Cooper, according to McNabb, did not take her side. And most Democrats don’t, based on votes for comparable proposals across the country.

Payton McNabb, the high school volleyball player who was hit in the face by a transgender player, speaks out. Earlier this week, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre spoke with a reporter expressing her emotions over concerns about the safety of female athletes forced to compete against men. Jean-Pierre commented: You are suggesting that transgender children are dangerous. “It sounds like you’re saying… You’re giving a general illustration or explanation of what might happen. That poses a risk. That is a risky statement to make. Basically, transgender children are harmful. According to McNabb, the White House’s position is “very, very hypocritical.”

She believes she understands what others have said about how dangerous this is for us. In essence, she turned the tables, making Jean-Pierre the victim, according to McNabb. According to her, she expected no less from the entire government. So this is all about this case. So, stay tuned to PKB news for more updates on this case.

Legislation like this is harmful and life-threatening, relies on outdated beliefs, and undermines medical professionals.
